The Maruti Suzuki Nurture 2.0 Grand Finale, a collaboration between Maruti Suzuki Innovation and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, was held in Kolkata on October 4, 2024. This pre-incubation program supported early-stage tech startups from India’s East, North East, and Central regions, offering mentorship and opportunities to connect with the Maruti Suzuki ecosystem.

Dr. Arnab Basu, Co-Founder and CEO of Yancha, participated in this prestigious event as part of the distinguished jury panel, alongside industry leaders and academics such as Dr. Tapan Sahoo, Executive Director of Digital Enterprises at Maruti Suzuki, and Dr. Subhrangshu Sanyal, CEO of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.

The program received an impressive 411 applications, with finalists selected through regional Idea Hunts in Kolkata, Guwahati, and Raipur. Eleven finalists competed in the Grand Finale, presenting their innovative ideas to the jury.

Dr. Basu congratulated the winners—EXtrive Innovations, Chargingride Technologies Private Limited (EVBOOTH), Powerprofit Tech, and Royal Bengal Greentech Private Limited—for their creative solutions to shape the future of mobility in India.

He expressed gratitude for being part of such an inspiring initiative, which encourages innovation and growth in the mobility sector. The event highlighted the importance of supporting young startups in their journey toward transforming the future of transportation in India.
