Dr. Arnab Basu, Co-Founder and CEO of Yancha, participated in the Leadership Circle: Boost FLN, Beat the NIPUN Bharat Deadline, an impactful event held in Lucknow and online. The initiative brought together a select group of government officials, CSR leaders, and NGOs, all committed to advancing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) to ensure India meets the NIPUN Bharat Mission targets before the 2026-27 deadline.

The event highlighted a critical issue, revealing that 24% of schools in one state are lagging behind the NIPUN Mission objectives. Discussions focused on replacing traditional teaching methods with innovative approaches that have demonstrated remarkable improvements in FLN levels. A key strategy emphasized was the need to involve parents in understanding behavioral development as a means to accelerate learning progress.

Representing Yancha in the online session, Dr. Basu showcased the organization’s work in this domain and shared plans to collaborate with State Governments and the Leadership Circle through upcoming MoUs. These partnerships aim to implement effective solutions to help achieve the mission’s goals by 2027.
